Writer of queer, speculative smut

I read a lot of smut. Most of it is fanfic ... but here are some of my original faves! Please go read them.

Johannes T. Evans is an icon! In his own words, he is a "gay, dandy, and disabled author of fantasy, romance, & queer fiction." He has a ton of free-to-read stories on his site, and even more at a reasonable praice. My favorite of his stories is hands-down "An Uncommon Bethrothal," an "erotic romance between a gentleman and his butler in the early 20th century."

In the world of traditional publishing, my world was recently rocked by Alexis Hall's Something Extraordinary. This book is not just a fabulous, kinky, pansexual romp, but is also a beautiful aromatic manifesto.

A brilliant new publication in the world of smut is NYGEL Mag, full of "unorthodox, transgressive, just plan weird erotica". Iconic! I dream of being published here :)

I'm obsessed with this succulent risoprint comic by Kelsey Short called "Animal Magnetism" that has an R18 sequel. It's about a tiny little guy trying to find love amongst forest creatures. And then there's excellent snail sex. You can read the main story for free, but I'd highly recommend buying it and the extra because they're beautiful art books.

A great place to find more spicy stories is Wanton Weekly! Writers can submit their work and readers can recommend their faves to this weekly newsletter.
