Welcome to the site of J. Aster, your local writer of queer, speculative smut. What is speculative? Simply put, anything adjacent to sci-fi, fantasy, and related genres. Sometimes I do write non-spec, but the majority requires you engage in a flight of fancy to read about some queer aliens/fairies/gods/etc. fucking nasty.

I do not self-publish my stories. I'm committed to the traditional publishing route--which, it seems, is harder than ever due to a depressing dearth of smut-publishing venues. Nevertheless, I've been finding my pieces homes - check out the "Read" link above to indulge! Some of them are free to access.

I have the utmost respect for those fearless authors going down the self-publishing route. Not the least because they provide me with some excellent reading material. Check out the "Recs" page for folks you should check out! They often have freebies as well, although I encourage you to drop them some cold hard cash on account of writers needing to buy food.

So, what do I write? I write about queer people: men, women, nonbinary folks, and a cosmos of other possibilities. I got my smutty start writing on A03, which you can probably tell (I usually can!). I enjoy portraying characters absolutely overcome, in one way or another, by sensual experiences that push the boundaries of "too much to bear, but in a really good way." To put it another way, you might see some of these tags if my stories were on AO3: #D/s elements, #MarathonSex, #Overstimulation, #FemDom, #DirtyTalk, #SizeKink, #NonhumanBiology, #CumPlay. Not all of that is represented in my currently published work. Hopefully it will be some day.
